Add mushrooms and carrots. Saute 5 minutes. Transfer vegetables to bowl.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add Brussels sprouts and onion.

Simmer 10 minutes. Set aside 3/4 cup cooked Brussels sprouts.
