Brown Sugar Squash
Brown Sugar Squash is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with medium-size acorn squash, butter, c. brown sugar, . salt and . nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Clean squash and cut in half.
Clean out seeds with a spoon. Remove stem.
Fill a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with 1/4 cup water. Place squash upside-down in pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1/2 hour. While squash is baking, melt butter in pan.
Stir in brown sugar, salt and nutmeg.
Leave mixture on low heat until 1/2 hour is up. Take out squash, turn them right side up and fill them with butter mixture.
Place squash back in oven for 1/2 hour.
