Broccoli Salad
Broccoli Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large bunch fresh broccoli, cut into flowerets, 1 c. thinly sliced carrots, 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 8 slices bacon and 1/2 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Place broccoli in colander and plunge into large pot of boiling water for about 10 seconds.
Drain and dip immediately into ice water to stop cooking.
Combine broccoli, carrots, cheese and bacon and toss gently.
Combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar; mix well.
Add mayonnaise mixture to broccoli mixture and toss well. Chill before serving.
