Broccoli Salad
Broccoli Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. broccoli, 2 c. cauliflower, 1 small purple onion, red grapes or raisins and 5 strips bacon, cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large bowl, mix broccoli, cauliflower, purple onion and red grapes or raisins, you may use both.
If you use red grapes, cut them into quarters.
Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into flowerets and chop the onion real fine.
Crumble bacon into the mixture.
In small mixing bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Add to vegetable mixture and stir well.
Chill overnight before serving.
Serves 8.
