Broccoli Platter
Broccoli Platter is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 2 tsp. minced onion, 1 c. dairy sour cream, 1/2 tsp. poppy seed and 1/2 tsp. paprika, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook the butter and onion together in a small skillet over medium heat until the onion is soft.
Do not let it brown.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in the sour cream, poppy seed, paprika, salt and pepper.
Heat in the top of a double boiler over boiling water. Cook the broccoli.
Lift onto a warm platter and pour on the hot sauce.
Sprinkle on chopped peanuts.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
