Broccoli Chowder

Broccoli Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh or frozen broccoli, 3 c. chicken broth, 4 c. half and half, 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ham, cubed and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

If using fresh broccoli, wash, stem and remove leaves.

Place in a large pan; add 1/2 of the stock.

Bring to boil; reduce heat and cover.

Simmer for 7 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Remove broccoli from stock and chop coarsely.

Add the remaining stock, ham, salt, pepper and 2 cups half and half to stock in pan. Stir well, bring to boil over medium heat.
