Broccoli Cheese Soup
Broccoli Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 1 chicken bouillon cube, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, 1 medium carrot, grated and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In saucepan bring water and bouillon cube to a boil.
Add broccoli and carrot.
Cook according to broccoli directions and remove from heat.
Do not drain.
In separate pan melt butter and stir in flour.
Continue stirring while adding milk.
Stir in the cheese, soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Add broccoli mixture and cook over medium to low heat until desired thickness.
Serves 6 to 8.
