Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices extra thin white bread, buttered (pepperidge farm), 1 lb. sausage meat, 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar or swiss cheese, 4 eggs and 3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Brown and drain sausage.
Place 6 slices of bread in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking pan.
Add half the sausage and cheese. Repeat with remaining bread, sausage and cheese.
Combine eggs, milk and salt.
Pour into pan.
Press into bread until evenly saturated. Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
Excellent for large crowd.
Can be prepared a day ahead.
