Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 8 slices bread, 1 lb. sausage, 1/2 green pepper, chopped, 1/2 onion, chopped and 6 oz. grated cheese (for 4 slices bread), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spray casserole dish with Pam.
Trim crust from as many slices of bread as will fit in bottom of dish.
Saute the sausage; crumble and drain well.
Put sausage on top of bread.
Saute green pepper and onion; drain well and spoon over sausage.
Layer cheese over vegetables.
Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper; pour over cheese.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
May leave in refrigerator overnight before baking or may freeze now.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
