Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bread (wheat or white, whatever you prefer) with edges cut off, 1 lb. ground sausage (mild or spicy), 2 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1 pt. half and half and 6 medium-large eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Brown sausage and drain.
Butter bottom only of glass baking dish.
Butter tops of bread and place in glass baking dish with buttered sides up.
Sprinkle drained sausage over bread.
Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Beat the eggs together with half and half. Pour over cheese.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes.
