Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 slices white bread, 3/4 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese, 4 eggs, beaten, 2 c. milk and 1 tsp. dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spread bread with butter, cut off crusts and cut into cubes. Alternate layers of bread cubes and cheese in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over bread-cheese mixture.
Let set several hours or overnight in refrigerator.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°, uncovered.
Cut into servings (like a quiche).
