Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. bulk loose sausage, 6 slices or cubes white bread, crusts removed, softened butter or margarine, 1 1/3 c. shredded longhorn cheese and 5 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble well.
Drain on paper towels; set aside.
Spread each slice of bread with butter; cut into cubes.
Place bread cubes in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle with the sausage and top with the cheese. Combine remaining ingredients; beat well and pour over mixture in pan.
Chill at least 8 hours.
Remove from refrigerator and bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
Yields 6 servings.
