Brown sausage in skillet and drain.
Combine half and half, eggs and salt.
Mix well.
Layer bread, sausage and cheese in a 10 x 15-inch baking dish.
Pour egg mixture over layers. Chill overnight, covered.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 12.
