Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bread, 1 lb. sausage, 1/2 c. cheese, shredded (mild cheddar), 2 c. whipping cream or canned evaporated milk and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Remove crust from bread.
Butter on both sides; break into pieces and place in bottom of 9 x 13 casserole dish.
Fry sausage and crumble; set aside to drain.
Sprinkle sausage and cheese on top of bread.
Combine milk, eggs and salt; beat well.
Pour on top of casserole.
Refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking.
Bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes.
