Made with 6 c. cooked rice, 1 lb. sausage, browned, 1 onion, chopped and sauteed, mushrooms, sliced and sauteed (if desired) and 16 oz. cheddar cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large casserole dish, layer cooked rice, then sausage and onions, then mushrooms.
Cover with grated cheese.
Mix soup and eggs in bowl and pour over layered ingredients.
