Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sausage, bacon or ham, 3 to 4 slices white bread or hash browns, 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, 4 eggs and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook meat and drain; butter 9 x 13 pan.
Put in layer of white bread cubes or hash browns.
Put meat on top of bread or hash browns.
Add layer of Cheddar cheese.
Pour over the mixture: 4 beaten eggs, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 cups milk.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour (covered).
Add onion and green peppers to top.
Also add microwaved Cheez Whiz on top.
Also can add sour cream and salsa for topping.
