Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cheddar cheese, 1 lb. sausage, 2 c. milk, 3/4 c. mushrooms, lightly sauteed and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Brown sausage. Beat eggs; add milk and salt. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread sausage in bottom of pan. Next layer bread cubes. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 45 minutes or until center is done. Makes 6 servings.
You may use bacon or ham instead of sausage.
