Bread Twists
Bread Twists is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 3/4 c. very warm water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water.
Let set about 5 minutes until foamy.
Beat in salt, shortening and 2 cups flour.
Add enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough.
Turn dough out on flour-covered surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
Roll dough into a ball.
Place in a greased bowl and turn to grease top.
Let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down dough and divide into 8 equal pieces.
