Bread Soufflé
Bread Soufflé is an easy dinner. Made with 10 slices white bread, 2 c. milk, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. salt and 3/4 lb. grated sharp cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut off crust on bread slices.
Discard.
Brush each side of slices with melted butter.
Cut into 1-inch cubes.
In a 10 x 10-inch casserole layer 1/2 bread cubes.
Add 1/2 milk and egg that have been whisked together and 1/2 of cheese.
Remaining bread on top, milk and cheese.
Let stand at least 3 hours before baking. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
Salt to taste (1 teaspoon).
