Bread Pudding
Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. and 1/2 c. milk, 2 c. white bread, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. butter and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Scald milk on stove top; do not boil.
Grease a 2-quart baking dish with butter and set aside.
Set milk off stove and add bread, sugar and butter.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat eggs.
Add salt and vanilla.
Gently stir bread mixture into egg mixture and pour into baking dish.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Set dish in a pan of water on bottom shelf of oven.
Put approximately 1 inch of water in pan. Bake for 1 hour.
Insert wet knife into the pudding.
If knife comes out clean, it is done.
