Bread Basket
Bread Basket is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. salt and 2 tbsp. margarine, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Measure warm water into a large warm bowl.
Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.
Add sugar, salt and margarine.
Add 3 cups flour; beat until smooth.
Add enough additional flour to make a stiff dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease top.
Cover; let rise in a warm place, free from draft, until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
