Bran Loaf
Bran Loaf is an moderately easy baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour. Made with c. (8 oz.) all-bran cereal, to 1 c. raisins, c. brown sugar, c. 2% or whole milk and c. flour (i use whole wheat), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix cereal, raisins, brown sugar and milk well and let stand for 1 hour or longer.
Then add the flour and baking powder.
Put in a small, greased loaf pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 1 hour or less, until done.
When cool, refrigerate.
Doubles well.
