Have all ingredients at room temperature. Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating constantly. Reduce to blend. Add the sour cream and flour.
Add the baking powder. When all ingredients are blended, bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a loaf or tube pan, greased and floured.
