Boiled Rice Pudding
Boiled Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. canned milk, 1 large egg, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring water to boil, add rice; cover tightly and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, until water is gone.
Add 1 cup whole milk, sweetened with 1/2 cup sugar.
Cook, uncovered, continuously until milk is absorbed.
Remove from heat.
Add prepared mixture of milk, egg, sugar and flavors to cooked rice.
More milk may be used if too thick;
(optional) add 1/2 cup raisins.
Pour pudding into bowl and cool.
