Boiled-Raisin-Cake
Boiled-Raisin-Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, pinch of salt and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Simmer raisins in margarine or butter and 1 cup water until plump.
Set aside to cool.
In another bowl, put in all remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water.

In glass 7 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch pan, bake at 325° longer than 40 minutes.
In 7 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch tin, bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.
