Boiled Custard
Boiled Custard is an easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. milk, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs, separated and 2 rounded tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix flour, sugar and slightly beaten egg yellows together.
Add milk and cool over very low heat or double boiler until it slightly sticks to the spoon or becomes a little thicker, stirring constantly.
Beat egg whites, adding a little sugar (about 1/4 cup) until stiff.
Remove other mixture from heat; add egg whites and whip them in.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Cool in refrigerator. Stir before serving.
