Blueberry Brunch Cake Bread

Cream the sugar, shortening and egg.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating until well mixed.
Place in greased deep 7 x 10-inch pan. Sprinkle blueberries on top.
Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.
Sprinkle on top of blueberries.
Take a knife and gently run it through dough lengthwise and crosswise, working part of the topping into the batter.
Sprinkle top with nuts.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Serve warm or cold.
