Blue Cheese Pears
Blue Cheese Pears is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese, 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts and 1 clove garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Let cheeses come to a room temperature.
Combine softened cheeses, walnuts and garlic in a large mixer bowl.
Beat with an electric mixer until mixture is smooth.
If necessary add a few teaspoons milk to mix.
Form cheese mixture into a pear shape. Place cinnamon stick in top as a stem.
Add mint leaves at the stem.
Pat paprika on sides of the pear to create a shadow.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator.
Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving.
Serve with desired crackers and fruit. Serves eight.
