Black Walnut Taffy
Black Walnut Taffy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. white sugar, 2 c. milk, 2 c. white karo, 1 cubic inch paraffin, shaved and 2 envelopes gelatin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Bring sugar, milk, Karo and paraffin to a boil in large kettle then add gelatin that has been soaked in the water.
Cook stirring constantly until it reaches 260Β° by candy thermometer.
Remove from fire and add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into 2 greased pans to cool.
Pull fast until light in color.
