Black Bean Soup
Black Bean Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, diced, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced, 2 cans (15 oz. each) black beans (undrained) and 1 can (about 14 oz.) beef broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook bacon over medium-high heat in large saucepan until crisp.
Remove to paper towels; set aside.
Add onion and garlic to drippings; cook and stir 3 minutes.
Add beans and liquid, broth, water, 3/4 cup picante sauce, salt and oregano.
