Bishop Asbury Pound Cake

Preheat to 325°.
Grease and flour a 12 cup tube pan. Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add lemon juice and vanilla.
Finally, add the flour a little at a time.
Thoroughly mixed batter in pan and bake at
325° for 1 1/2 hours or until a straw test shows that it is done.
Cool a bit; then turn out.
