Measure flour and baking powder into 1-quart bowl.

Measure 1/3 cup liquid oil into 1-cup measure; 2/3 cup milk will then just fill the 1-cup measure.

Pour into center of flour.

Mix as little as possible until dough leaves sides of bowl.

Turn onto floured bread board.

Press out to about 1/2-inch thick.

Cut with cutter. Bake on ungreased baking sheet in preheated 425Β° oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, longer if more browning is desired or if large cutter was used.

Yield

16 or more biscuits.

Serve hot.
