Start at about 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Cut up onion and put in bottom of crock-pot.
Trim roast; cut in half and salt, pepper and flour all sides of roast.
Put roast in pot.
Put one can of golden mushroom soup on top.
Put one can water on top of that. Add one can of tomato sauce.
Set heat on high for about 2 hours, then turn heat to low (don't forget).
When you get up the next morning, turn heat up on high again for about 2 hours.
