Big John's Pie Dough
Big John'S Pie Dough is an easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. flour, 4 lb. butter and 1 pt. water (cold), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
π Recipe adapted from RecipeNLG-Full
Place flour in a mixing bowl.
Using the dough hook attachment, add the butter slowly.
When the mixture is pea size, dribble in the water.
This dough makes a nice golden crust and is almost foolproof to make (I can do it!).
Form the dough into balls that weigh 1 ounce for each inch your pie pan is.
These can be wrapped and frozen until needed; just thaw and roll out.
