Bev's Chicken Italiano
Bev'S Chicken Italiano is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 boneless chicken breasts, 3 tbsp. margarine, 1/4 c. onion, diced, 1 can italian tomato sauce and garlic powder to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt margarine in baking dish in 350° oven.
Wash chicken. Dip in beaten egg until well coated.
Mix bread crumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and pepper; roll chicken in mixture until well coated.
Place in baking dish.
Pour tomato sauce over the chicken; sprinkle with onions and green peppers.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with cheese.
Continue baking for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is tender.
