Best Yet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) vanilla instant pudding and 1 c. coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Bake cake mix as directed on box in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Meanwhile, simmer pineapple and sugar.
Remove cake from oven. Punch holes in it with handle of wooden spoon and cover with pineapple mixture; chill.
Mix instant pudding as directed on box.
Add coconut.
Spread the mixture over pineapple.
Cover with whipped topping and sprinkle with nuts.
