Best-Ever Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. soda, 1 c. butter and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat oven to 375°.
Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.
In medium bowl, combine flour, soda and sugar; set aside.
In large saucepan, combine butter, water and cocoa; bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Add flour mixture, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
Use electric mixer, beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Frost with Buttercream Frosting. Makes 12 servings.
