Berry Cobbler
Berry Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. berries, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Make a syrup with 1 cup sugar and water by heating to a boil. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla.
Add beaten egg and beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients and milk.
Beat until smooth.
Turn batter into 10 x 6-inch baking dish.
Put berries over batter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
Pour syrup over fruit and batter.
Bake in moderate (350Β°) oven 45 minutes.
There will be a cake layer on top with fruit at the bottom.
We usually double the recipe.
Also good with fresh peaches or canned cherries.
