Beer Kraut
Beer Kraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. kolbasi, 2 lb. sauerkraut, drained, save juice, garlic salt and onion, salt to taste and 1 c. v-8 juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Place kraut in Dutch oven.
Add beer to cover.
Add seasonings and V-8 juice.
Cover and simmer 1 hour.
Melt butter in small skillet.
Stir in flour and brown well.
Add 1 cup juice from kraut.
Stir and cook until thickened.
Stir back into kraut.
Add kolbasi.
Simmer covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours more.
