Beef Yorkshire Pie
Beef Yorkshire Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. finely chopped onion, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1/2 tsp. ground coriander, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook beef and onion in hot skillet, cutting meat apart with fork.
Remove from heat.
Drain off fat and mix in teaspoon of salt and next 4 ingredients.
Set aside.
Place a 10-inch ovenproof well-greased skillet in 400° oven until very hot.
Blend flour and remaining salt in a bowl.
Add mixture of eggs and milk; beat until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the hot skillet. Cover with beef mixture and top with remaining batter.
Bake at 400° for 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Cut into wedges and serve from skillet.
