Beef Stew
Beef Stew is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. stew meat or round steak, flour, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 qt. stewed tomatoes and 2 to 4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dredge meat in flour after cutting meat in 1 to 2-inch cubes. Brown in 2 to 3 tablespoons hot oil in large cooking pot.
Saute garlic with meat.
Brown meat on all sides.
Add tomatoes, water and spices.
Bring to low simmer.
Cook 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
Add diced vegetables (other vegetables may be added according to taste).
Cook 45 minutes or longer until tender.
