Beef Roll-Ups
Beef Roll-Ups is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with to 2 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick), bacon, cut in half, c. finely chopped onion, c. flour, divided and c. water, divided, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cut round steak into 4 rectangles.
Pound to 1/4-inch thickness with the edge of a saucer or meat mallet.
May use cubed steak.
Place bacon on paper towels.
Cover with paper towel. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until partially cooked. Place 3 bacon halves and 1 tablespoon onion on each piece of round steak.
Roll pieces and secure with wooden picks.
Dredge rolls in 2 tablespoons flour, then place in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with any flour remaining from dredging.
