Beef 'n' Tator Bake
Beef 'N' Tator Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 1 c. soft bread crumbs, 1 egg, beaten, 1/2 c. chopped onions and 1/3 c. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion, ketchup, salt and pepper.
Pat meat into an 8-inch square baking dish.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven; drain excess fat.
Combine mashed potatoes and 3/4 cup shredded American cheese; spread cheese over meat.
Bake for another 30 minutes.
Top with 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
Bake for another 20 minutes.
