Stir in flour, salt and garlic salt.

Add 1 1/4 cups milk and softened cream cheese.

Cook until smooth and bubbly.

Add a moderate amount of the hot creamed mixture to the skillet and cook over medium heat until mixture is thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in cooked broccoli; set aside.

Line a 9-inch pan with pie shell.

Cut Monterey Jack cheese into slices.
