Beef Bourguignon

SautΓ© onions in butter in a heavy saucepan until tender.
Add meat and brown on all sides.
Add flour, salt, pepper, herbs and garlic juice.
Stir until smooth.
Add 1 1/2 cups bouillon and 1/2 cup wine.
Simmer 3 hours.
Add mushrooms.
Cook 1 hour more; add remaining bouillon and wine as needed.
