Basic Stuffing
Basic Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped cooked turkey, 2 c. broth, 1 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1 c. chopped onion and 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Chop celery and onion together until fine.
Add poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Chop until mixed well.
Add melted butter, beaten egg, chopped turkey and broth; mix well.
Add one pan of crumbled cornbread.
Mix until consistency for making patties by hand.
May need more cornbread.
Fry in small patties in oil or can be baked.
Will keep several days in refrigerator.
