Basic Cheese Sauce(Low-Fat) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. margarine, 4 tsp. cornstarch, 1/8 tsp. pepper or white pepper, 1 c. skim milk and 3/4 c. shredded american or process swiss cheese (3 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a small saucepan, melt margarine.
Stir in cornstarch and pepper; add milk.
