Barry's Pecan Pralines
Barry'S Pecan Pralines is an easy dinner. Made with 3 3/4 c. white granulated sugar, 1 large can evaporated milk, 1 stick margarine/butter, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract (imitation) and 2 c. chopped fresh pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Put 3/4 cup of dry sugar in a medium saucepan.
Heat on medium-high until sugar melts and turns a rich brown (beer bottle brown).
After sugar has melted and turned brown, add evaporated milk, being careful not to let it boil over.
Once it settles down, add remaining ingredients and heat to "soft-ball" stage, about 20 minutes on medium-high heat (electric stove) and close to high heat on a gas stove.
