Barbecued Franks
Barbecued Franks is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 medium onion, chopped, 1/2 green pepper, chopped, 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and 3/4 c. catsup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter in a Dutch oven until tender.
Add catsup, water, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and mustard.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add frankfurters; simmer an additional 5 minutes, or until franks are thoroughly heated. To serve, place in buns and spoon sauce on top.
Yields 8 servings.
