Brown chicken in hot fat.
Brown onion in 2 tablespoons fat. Add remaining ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes.
Pour over chicken.
Bake, uncovered, in a slow 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
Sauce may be used for meats, also.
